OUR MISSION
Matters Athletic aims to provide an opportunity to underserved youth through athletics, education, and social enrichment in Southeast San Diego.
THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY
Building a new training facility in Southeast San Diego housing a playing pitch for soccer, a basketball gym, and a top-end clubhouse where kids can feel at home.
Having the resources to facilitate age-appropriate academic support through onsite tutors and mentors.

PROVIDING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED ATHLETES.
MORE OPPORTUNITIES
To provide more opportunities for Southeast San Diego’s underserved community through excellent educational support, positive coaching on and off the pitch, and mentorship.
